Misadventures in becoming a stay-at-home Mama.
I finally realized trying to be a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, homemaker, professional marketer and creative spirit was just too much to juggle (successfully, anyways). My husband and I decided we would try to cut back, live simply and enjoy more time with our sweet baby girl. Admittedly, the first few months have been tough with our income cut in half and few freelance projects on the horizon. My plan is to document my adventures in making my dream a reality...the good, bad and funny.

Photo of the Day: Never "Undie"estimate a Toddler
I am trying to clean the house and do laundry and I find LoLo up to a new shenanigan...Undie Drawer Dress-up.

Never at Home MaMa
I am still here, I promise. The holidays were incredibly hectic with tons of travel. We have just now settled down enough for me to take five at the computer.
LoLo received way too many toys, but they have been very handy as the cold, rainy days of January have set in and we are housebound for the most part. She is getting to be such a big girl. Talking up a storm and bossing me around more and more each day. Tooth 13 and 14 are coming in strong, which hasn't been a walk in the park, but we are surviving. We traveled non-stop during the holidays. It doesn't take her long to settle into her new surroundings and destroy everything. She can pretty much come and go as she pleases at our house which proved challenging when visiting the homes of the non-baby proofed.
As for me, my darling hubby got me a Silhouette Cameo for Christmas and I LOVE it. I have been making paper projects left and right...and that may be some of the reason I haven't posted lately. I am making stuff! It feels good to have a toy of my own to play with and enjoy. I am currently working on an owl mobile for our friend's newest addition. Can't wait to get it finished.
Hope all is well with you my friends and family. We are excited about 2012 and I really hope to post more often in the coming weeks...really.
Post meltdown pic turned out surprisingly well for the entire family.

Grannie S. had no problem letting Lo handle breakfast at her house.
